Our Story
If you’re looking to hunt whitetail deer in Texas, BIG TEXAS DEER offers personalized hunts for individuals, small groups, or corporate outings. No matter your group size, you will be catered to while you are on property for your whitetail hunt. The Sullivan and Dean families are personally involved in every aspect of running the ranch. We want all visitors to experience the love we have for this place and to see the pride we take in sharing it with you. Our whitetail deer ranch is just over five hundred acres and offers the ability for hunting with archery equipment, rifles, and muzzleloader rifles. In north Texas, archery only season opens the first of October through the first Saturday in November. Hunting with archery equipment is legal anytime during our whitetail deer hunting season, but you can hunt pre-rifle season with a bow. At BIG TEXAS DEER we supply Raven crossbows for our guests accustomed to hunting with a rifle but looking to harvest earlier in season before the rut.
